Step Into Wellness
The Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is hosting it’s annual Step Into Wellness event on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Temple University Aramark Student Training and Recreation (STAR) Complex. This year’s event is in collaboration with:
– Epsilon Delta Chapter (Temple University) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority
– Temple University Health System who will offer blood sugar testing, eye exams, blood pressure screening, behavior health information, lung health education, and Narcan education/distribution
– 100 Black Men who will provide men’s health and mental health screenings and other men’s activities
– American Red Cross who will provide a blood drive
– Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc., our Good Health WINs vaccine partner who will provide COVID-19 vaccines
– Ms. Patty Jackson, WDAS Radio Personality
Other activities will include free giveaways, snacks, a DJ, line dancing, photo booth, yoga, Zumba, massages, vision board, Kids Korner, and various health and wellness educational resource exhibitors. It promises to be a day of family fun!
