“Our Blood Saves Lives” Blood Donation Drive and Health Event.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Lexington (KY) Alumnae Chapter and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Psi Tau Chapter will host a community blood drive with the American Red Cross on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 2PM to 7PM at Consolidated Baptist Church in Lexington, KY. This event supports the “Our Blood Saves Lives” sickle cell initiative sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the American Red Cross. In addition to blood donation, this event will feature American Heart Association “Hands Only” CPR training, health screenings, and summer safety tips. Participants will receive refreshments and giveaways. “Our Blood Saves Lives” will spotlight vaccination awareness with promotion of the Bridge Access free Covid vaccination program.
