Our virtual Black Health Series focused on Sickle Cell Anemia and Trait, reaching audiences via Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. The series delved into the complexities of sickle cell, treatment options, genetic counseling, and testing while shedding light on the experiences of affected individuals and their families.

Moreover, we integrated vaccine education into our programming, showcasing the CDC’s Bridge Access Program. This initiative offers free COVID-19 vaccines to uninsured adults and those with insufficient coverage. Our outreach significantly impacted Suffolk, Virginia, and beyond, engaging, empowering, and educating over 400 individuals about accessible COVID-19 vaccination options.
