Children like to pretend. They like to dress up and they love fictional superheroes. Kids Against COVID will provide science kits to student participants that allow them to dress up as scientists, just as they might wear a costume for Halloween. Students also like to receive packages in the mail. Students will be invited by school personnel to participate in Kids Against COVID. Within two weeks of registration, (including guardian consent) a kit containing personal protective equipment will arrive at the student’s home, addressed specifically to him or her. The kit will contain an invitation to wear their PPE and participate in two ZOOM webinars. The event is open to after-school participants only.
